About Cropwell Bishop WI

The WI has been an important part of Cropwell Bishop, Nottinghamashire  for over 80 years. We are a small and friendly group who would love to welcome new members with new ideas. We have a varied programme of talks, demonstrations, activities and outings but are always open to suggestions of ways to move forward.

Our committee of 6 at the moment, organise the programme of meetings and fund raising events. Membership of the WI opens the door to a wide variety of opportunities at local, county and National level or at the WI's own residential adult education facility,Denman College in Oxfordshire. It enables you to expand your horizons, make new friends, take up new interests, learn new crafts and sports and develop new skills.

There's much more to it than Jam and Jerusalem, cakes and crochet!

Our Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at the Memorial Hall in the village at 7.30pm

Joining the Cropwell Bishop Village WI is a great way to meet new people in the village and make new friends.

We look forward to meeting you very soon.
